Gravity is always downwards relative to the ball, with the level rotating around the ball as it moves moving off a tile into an empty space causes the ball to fall downwards, failing the level if there are no more tiles below. The player controls a ball by rolling or jumping, though movement is constrained to forward, back, left or right there is also no air control or cancelling movement.
Each puzzle level is made up of square tiles, connected in flat layers, at angles, or free-standing. GameplayĬollecting all the sunflowers in a puzzle activates the exit portal, which must then be reached to complete the puzzle. Puzzle Dimension runs on the Traktor engine, which is Doctor Entertainment AB's in-house engine. Puzzle Dimension is currently available as a digital download via Steam, but will be available on other services eventually. There are also plans for iPad and mobile versions. A PSN version was later released on June 28th, 2011.

The PC and Mac versions were the first supported platforms. The music reacts by transforming to crystal clear from chiptune style music. There are 100 unique puzzles to be solved progressing through each level dynamically changes the visuals and audio. The basic game play of Puzzle Dimension is simple, move the ball through the level to the exit while collecting the sunflowers.
